Famous last words - Jesus had no reason to regret His final comments as many would want to retrieve their “famous last words.”
Jesus was eager to have this Last Passover with His disciples because:
1. In Him, the Passover had reached its fulfillment
2. He wanted to prepare them for His crucifixion
3. He wanted to establish the Lord’s Supper for all time and eternity
