	A movie about God changing a man. Jay Austin sells cars - used cars - and he will cheat and lie to close a deal. Despite his apparent success, his life is in a shambles. He’s not the loving husband, caring father and honest, generous Christian businessman he appears to be. Charles Price - speaking at Central West Christian Conference These messages from Romans chapters 1 to 8 were recorded at the Central West Christian Conference at Orange, NSW. Charles Price explains that Paul wrote this letter to the Christians in Rome to counter rumours about the message he was preaching. It is the most complete explanation we have of what the Gosel is - a message that tells how God came out of heaven so He might get into people. In the beginning, God made human beings who would reflect His character. Through sin, man became unrighteous, no longer presenting an image of the character of God. He had become a wild man, a tiger, who used violence to solve problems and control the people around him. This 2-disc set is not an easy watch. Tony describes his painful childhood spent learning martial arts from his grandfather in China and how he later used these skills as a body guard and “loan collector” for his employers. Although Tony is now a Christian, he carries the emotional scars of his tough upbringing and violent career. His story is a great testimony of God’s ability to reach a brutal man who seemed unreachable.

The young couple collect a land title and soon discover the value of good neighbours in this isolated region. As the story unfolds, Willie’s and Missie’s faith and love are tested in many ways. The Outbreak of the 1904 Welsh Awakening This account of the Welsh Revival highlights the role of Evan Roberts, a 26-year-old coal miner and blacksmith’s assistant who rose from obscurity in the last few months of 1904. Saved at the age of 13, Roberts spent the next ten years resolutely attending prayer meetings, listening to many messages and studying his Bible. During this time he also prayed for a revival. The revival began in Loughor at the end of October 1904 and within a few weeks had spread throughout Wales. Some historians say at least 150,000 were saved in a period of six months.

At Mt Nebo, God allowed Moses to see the land of promise but he was not allowed to go in. In Numbers 20 we read that Moses disobeyed God - striking the rock for water instead of speaking to it. Charles shows the parallel between Christ our spiritual rock and the physical rock at Meribah.

The truth is what we call Christian doctrine; a coherent body of belief in which all the pieces fit together. Doctrine is important because our actions express our beliefs and values.
	Convictions About Scripture      48min 1 Timothy 4:13-16 2 Timothy 4:3 The Bible is a library of 66 books. The Old Testament is basically the story of Israel and God’s dealings with Israel. In the New Testament we see that Israel is the nation through which Messiah (the Christ) will come and through Christ we see the birth of the Church. This message deals with both the Authority of Scripture and the Inspiration of Scripture.

We know most things through our five physical senses but to know God we need revelation from God. This message considers some of the philosophical issues around the problem of knowing God. Only Christ (the personal revelation of God) can save us and bring reconciliation with God.
	The Knowability of God      49min John 17:1-3 You cannot prove the existence of God to a sceptic, but the Bible tells us that we can know God. Knowing God is not simply about intellectual understanding and knowledge of God, it is more a matter of experience of God. Some of God’s attributes belong to God alone and He does not share them with His creation, but other attributes (attributes of His character) have been given to human beings - whom He has made in His image.

Charles discusses the problem of trying to understand the idea of sovereignty. Systematic Theology is one attempt and Biblical Theology is another. Charles prefers Biblical Theology. God sent Jeremiah to the potter’s house to see an illustration of God’s sovereignty.

In the Bible the holiness of God is spoken about in two ways - in His uniqueness and in His ethical qualities. When we experience the holiness of God, it will do something to us - as it did to Isaiah.
	The Worship of God      42min John 4:19-24 This message considers three questions - What is worship? Why do we worship? How do we worship? It considers the difference between worship in the Old Testament and the New Testament. In our churches we do not always recognise this difference. To know God is to be filled with such love and adoration for God that we worship to complete that experience.

V1049	Changing Water into Wine      42min John 2:1-11 In John’s Gospel we find eight miracles or "miraculous signs". The word "signs" is important because a sign is not an end in itself, it is a pointer to something else. Turning the water into wine is a case of making something extraordinary out of something ordinary.

	The Miraculous Catch of Fish      54min John 21 This miraculous sign is different from all the others because the normal laws of nature are not reversed or over-ruled. The disciples are defeated and discouraged. They turn their back of Jesus’ calling, "I will make you fishers of men." In these verses we find the confirmation of Peter’s calling and a reminder that Jesus will meet us in the issues of life.
